Billy Dean Johnsen

Billy Dean Johnsen, 69, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home. He was born on November 18, 1947, in Storm Lake, Iowa, the son of Freddie Jr. and Thelma Flo (Dunham) Johnsen.  Billy was raised in the Storm Lake area and graduated from Alta High School in 1965.

After graduating, Billy lived in Sioux City and did janitorial work. He moved to Strawberry Point in 2007.

Billy is survived by his sister, Betty Hawkins, of Strawberry Point.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Bruce A. Hawkins and Donald Denton Standridge; one niece, Dreama Marie Standridge; and one nephew, Kirk Martin Hawkins.
