Renae Bernice (Cole) Chapman

Renae Bernice Chapman, 33, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. She was born on July 25, 1984, in Iowa City, the daughter of Diane L. Carpenter and Wilbur J. Heth. She was a 2003 graduate of West Delaware High School in Manchester.

Renae married Travis Chapman. Five children were born to this union. They later divorced. Renae found the love of her life, Thomas Smith, and one child was born to the couple. They were set to marry in April 2018.

Renae loved spending time with family and friends. She was out of this world for her children, who she lived for.

Renae is survived by her fiancé, Thomas “T.J.” Smith of Manchester; her mother, Diane (Del) Walton of Lamont; six children, Seth, Alexia, Jay, Skybrin, and Rayden Chapman and Kaydence Smith, all of Manchester; one step-son, Damion Smith of Manchester; her siblings, Amy (Fred) Stone, Daryl Cole, Ann (Antonio) Gonzalez, and Jamie Cole; half-siblings, Tasha, Curtis, Jamie, Stephanie, Laurie, Megan, and Dakota; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Renae was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur J. Heth; grandparents, Bill and Erma Carpenter; great-grandparents, Don and Bernice Rucker and William and Lydia Carpenter; and a niece, Harlee Stone.
