 Our funeral homes and crematory facility are full service funeral establishments offering personal, distinctive and affordable services to individuals and families of all religious faiths. We are locally owned and operated with a caring staff that is available 24 hours to serve you. 

 We recognize that each family we serve has their own unique needs, and must have the opportunity to celebrate the life of their loved one that is meaningful to them. We are committed to helping you create a service that represents your special needs, customs, and traditions. We have a wide variety of services. Our staff will assist you so that you have a clear understanding of all service options and costs. 

 We will also explain to you the various options and requirements with regard to funeral and burial merchandise. You will have the opportunity to personalize your selections in a way that represents a meaningful part of your loved one’s life. This can be done with caskets, vaults, service folders, and acknowledgements. 

 Other considerations that we will assist you with include: flowers, luncheon, marker, engraving, death certificates, music, memorials, fraternal or legion services, newspaper and radio notices, social security, veteran, and IPERS benefits.

itemized goods and services

All of our funeral goods and services are itemized in our General Price List as required by Federal Trade Commission regulations. This provides families an opportunity to select exactly the type of funeral or memorial ceremony they prefer, and to be more informed of prices. We also offer custom service packages that can provide savings and convenience over itemized selection.

burial service options

Several options are available for those who prefer a traditional burial service. A few of these options include a complete funeral service at your place of worship or at the funeral home with burial to follow, graveside memorial service of remembrance; and finally, immediate burial with no services. While these only cover the general types of burial services, your choices are not required to fit exactly into any particular category.

cremation service options

Several options are available for those who prefer cremation. A few of these options include a complete funeral service with cremation replacing burial; immediate cremation with a memorial service of remembrance; and finally, immediate cremation with no services. While these only cover the general types of cremation services, your choices are not required to fit exactly into any particular category. There are literally options within options available to provide a meaningful service of remembrance.

disposition of remains

There are also many options available for the disposition of the cremains. You may choose to purchase a decorative urn, which can be buried in a family plot. Some may choose to keep the cremains in their home in a location where being close is helpful to them. You can also scatter cremains in a place that holds great significance to the family. It might be a farm pond, a lake, or a meadow, just to mention a few. It is illegal to scatter cremains in some areas, so you need to ask us for advice regarding this procedure.

donation to a medical facility

Donation to a medical facility refers to an individual who chooses to ultimately gift their body to a medical facility for scientific research. Several options are available for those who choose donation to a medical facility. A complete funeral service is possible with donation replacing burial; immediate donation with a memorial service of remembrance; and finally, immediate donation with no services. Papers must be filed with the medical facility some time in advance of death. We can assist you with this option.
