Ann Marie Schrader, 79, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019, at her residence. She was born on August 2,1939, in Castle Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Anna (Gudenkauf) Weber. Ann grew up in the Greeley area and was a graduate of Greeley High School.
On April 15, 1961, Ann was united in marriage to Wilbur “Bill” Schrader in Greeley. Three children were born to this union. Ann worked as a telephone operator for a short period of time and then as an aide for the West Delaware Schools. The couple resided in Manchester.
Ann enjoyed tending to her flowers and playing cards. She loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Wilbur Schrader of Manchester; her three children, Todd (Shelly) Schrader of Manchester, Daniel (Linda Burkle) Schrader of Earlville, and Susan (Lyle) Theisen of Dyersville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; six siblings, Carlyn Wessel, Mary (Tim) Cooney, Michael (Ginny) Weber, Loras (Carol) Weber, Joanne (Peter) Weber, and Linda (Kevin) Fergesen; sisters-in-law, Lavonne Weber and Marilyn (Jim) Olinger; and many nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Sharon Mattern; and two brothers, Joe and Robert Weber.
