David Henry Krapfl

David Henry Krapfl, 84, of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on July 19, 1934, in Epworth, the son of Otto and Regina (Prier) Krapfl. Dave was raised and educated in the Epworth area.  He joined the United States Army and served honorably for a short period of time.

On October 26, 1968, Dave was united in marriage to Anna Marie Maiers at Nativity Catholic Church in Dubuque.  Three children were born to this union.  For many years Dave farmed in Delaware and Clayton counties.  He was a milk hauler for 14 years and later worked at Lumber Specialties in Dyersville.

Survivors include his daughter, Jayne (Joe) Tibbott of Edgewood; and two grandchildren, Austin and Allison Tibbott of Edgewood.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Anna Marie; and two children in infancy, Cindy and Barry.
