Dena Michelle (Carter) Brewer, 40, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2019, at a friend’s home. She was born on April 15, 1978, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Gary and Kathy (Cox) Carter. Dena ‘s family moved to Iowa when she was a young girl. She was raised and educated in the Manchester area.

Dena was an artist, an animal lover, and enjoyed listening to music. She loved spending time with her friends and family. There were many amazing qualities about Dena, but being the mother of her five boys was the greatest part of her life.

Survivors include her five sons, Michael Seeders of Oelwein, Robert “Jesse” Brewer of Manchester, Garrett Royce of Oklahoma, and Lucas Wright and Fynn Wright both of Manchester; her special friend, Chuck Wright of Manchester; her father, Gary Carter of Oklahoma; and her siblings, Andrea (Brian) Goldbeck, Sean Lott, and Aaron Lott, all of Oklahoma, Amy Moser of Manchester, and Debra Jo Moser of Guttenberg.

Dena was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy; and a sister, Patricia Carter.
