Donna Mae (Wilde) Schonscheck

Donna Mae Schonscheck, 86, formerly of Neenah, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, at the Circle of Life Missions Boarding Home in Strawberry Point, Iowa.  She was born on December 14, 1930, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the daughter of Alton and Rhea (Jahnke) Wilde.  Donna attended country school near Oshkosh. 

On June 4, 1949, Donna was united in marriage to Elvin Schonscheck in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  Three children were born to this union.  The couple lived on their farm near Neenah their entire married lives.  Elvin passed away in 1991.

Donna was a member of the Oshkosh Eagles.  She and Elvin were foster parents for many years.  Donna enjoyed bowling and cherished time spent with her family.  She moved to Iowa to be near her daughter and family.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Jack) Resor of Masonville; one son, Neil (Kathy) Schonscheck of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Lois Blechl, Virginia Schonscheck, Darlene (Robert) Kumbier, and Dale (Judy) Wilde, all of Oshkosh. 

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elvin Schonscheck; her daughter, Lisa Schonscheck; her granddaughter, Tamatha Resor; and two brothers-in-law, Harold Schonscheck and Frank Blechl.
