Kent Falck

Kent Falck, 64, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. He is the son of Allan and Lillian (Birrer) Falck, born on April 26, 1955, at Mercy Hospital in Oelwein. He was raised on a farm near Strawberry Point and was a 1973 graduate of Starmont High School.

On May 1, 1976, Kent was united in marriage to Susan Kay Heidt. Two children were born to this union. The couple owned and operated a dairy farm near Strawberry Point.

Kent enjoyed farming, woodworking, gardening, playing cards, and lighting off fireworks. He cherished time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Susan; his mother, Lillian Falck of Edgewood; mother-in-law, Gwen Heidt; two children, Deana (Tom) Herzmann of Cedar Falls and Craig (Shanan) Falck of Marion; seven grandchildren, Sydney, Keegan, and Paige Herzmann and Brandon, Derek, Dylan, and Cody Klink; his brother, Larry (Jenette) Falck of Strawberry Point; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Kent was preceded in death by his father, Allan Falck; father-in-law, Iver Heidt; and his grandparents, Fred and Alice Birrer.
