Richard Dale Ingles, 63, of Edgewood, Iowa, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2018, at his home in Edgewood. He was born on April 1, 1955, in Manchester, the son of Donald “Butch” and Mildred Geraldean (Tindell) Ingles. Richard was raised in Greeley, attending school through tenth grade at Oneida Tech.
Richard was employed in farming and construction, working most recently for High Performance Construction in Greeley. Richard married Debra Bolsinger. Three children were born to this union, Sara, Calvin, and Crystal. The couple later divorced. On September 21, 1996, Richard was united in marriage to Shari Schroeder, becoming the stepfather to Chad, Danny, and Angie.
Richard enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He was a very good cook; his specialty was chicken and dumplings.
Survivors include his wife, Shari; two children, Calvin (Brittany) Ingles of Edgewood and Crystal Ingles of Greeley; three stepchildren, Chad (Holly) Kuehl of Garber, Danny Kuehl of Edgewood, and Angie (Harold Beck) Kuehl-Bolsinger of Elkport; a step-son-in-law, Brad Bolsinger of Edgewood; nine grandchildren, Parker Ingles, Kole (Courtney) Schroeder, Zack (Johan) Kuehl, Jordan (Lane) Kuehl, MaKenna Kuehl, Ciara Kuehl, Kennidi Kuehl, Tanner (Sophia) Bolsinger, and Tori Bolsinger; his mother-in-law, Vila Schroeder of Elkader; a good friend, Justin Fry of Greeley; two brothers, Jerry Ingles and Gary “Babe” (Penny) Ingles, all of Greeley; a sister-in-law, Sandy (Steve) Schmidt of Iowa City; many nieces and nephews; and his two dogs, Elvis and Priscilla.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Sara Rogers; four brothers, Kerry, Terry, Barry, and Larry; two infant siblings; his father-in-law, Milton Schroeder; and two sisters-in-law, Sheila Ingles and Betty Ingles.
