Terry U Tutton, 72, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on March 1, 1946, in Manchester, the son of Arlo and Pauline (Aldrich) Tutton. Terry was raised and educated in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School in 1964. He served honorably in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967.
Terry faithfully cared for his mother for many years after she was paralyzed. He had many occupations over the years. Most recently he worked as a custodian at the Delaware County Courthouse. Terry was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing and hunting, and was a longtime member of the NRA. He was also an avid bowler. Terry was a 50-year member of the Knights of Pythias. He was well-known for his Sunday morning breakfasts.
Survivors include his sister, Arkie Hood of Manchester; his brother, Tim (Jean Puffett) Tutton of Manchester; one brother-in-law, Norm Boss; and many nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Twyla Milroy and Dolores “Dee” Boss; a sister-in-law, Linda Tutton; and two brothers-in-law, Robert Milroy and Dick Hood.
