Warren Burdette Letts, 59, of Elgin, Iowa, formerly of Manchester, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union, Iowa. He was born on March 24, 1960, in Manchester, the son of Clyde and Jackie (Rich) Letts.
Warren attended West Delaware High School in Manchester and later obtained his GED. He graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids in the trucking program.
On October 1, 1986, Warren was united in marriage to Lesa Goeke in Manchester. Warren was employed by Paris and Sons grain elevator in Masonville for many years. He later drove truck for CR England for a couple years and most recently worked for Cabela’s in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Warren enjoyed fishing, boating, and playing pool and guitar. He loved spending time with his family.
Warren is survived by his wife, Lesa of Elgin; his mother Jackie Letts of Winthrop; four children, Warren (Sondra) Letts-Blanks, Jesse Letts-Blanks, all of Summersville, Missouri, Sherry Watson of Pekin, Illinois, and Kyle (Melissa) Robinson of Summersville, Missouri; 20 grandchildren, with one on the way; his nephew, Kody Letts of Independence; a cousin, Rick Letts; and his best friend, David Garlow.
Warren was preceded in death by his father; three siblings; and two grandchildren, Cory Joe and Dessa Louise Letts-Blanks.
