Amy Lynn Mullis, 39, of Earlville, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. She was born on January 23, 1979, in Ames, the daughter of Robert and Peggy (Granzow) Fuller. Amy was raised in the Eldora area and graduated from Eldora-New Providence High School in 1997. She then graduated as an RN from Kirkwood Community College.
On September 11, 2004, Amy was united in marriage to Todd Mullis at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Manchester. Three children were born to this union. Amy worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids and then in the ER at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. After the birth of her children, Amy chose to be a stay at home mom and partner in their farming operation.
Amy was a member of the Delaware County Pork Producer’s Board. She loved farming, hunting, fishing, and camping. Amy also enjoyed gardening and was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes fan. She liked designing and making t-shirts. She was always there for her family and friends. Above all else, Amy’s children were the most important part of her life.
Survivors include her husband, Todd Mullis of Earlville; her three children, all at home, Trysten, Taylor, and Wyatt; her parents, Robert (Eileen) Fuller of Iowa Falls and Peggy (Randy) Munson of Ankeny; one brother, Jeff (Morgan) Fuller of Eldora; four step-siblings, Whitney (Justin) Gamm of Eldora, Zach Converse of Lakeville, Minnesota, Jonathan (Jennifer Rabbitt) Munson of Ankeny, and Brandi Spurlock of North Conway, New Hampshire; her paternal grandparents, Bob and Arlene Fuller; her parents-in-law, LeRoy and Elaine Mullis of Earlville; her brothers-and sisters-in-law, Lori (Steve) Salow of Earlville, Mike Mullis of Earlville, Lynne (Mark) White of Worthington, and Pat (Judy) Mullis of Earlville; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Amy was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lowell and Margaret Granzow.
