Angelica Raynette Fenton

Angelica Raynette “Angel” Fenton, 54, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on March 2, 1966, in Manchester, the daughter of Cherryl Fenton. Angel attended and graduated from Edgewood-Colesburg High School with the class of 1985. She then attended NICC in Calmar. Angel worked at Casey’s in Edgewood, which she really enjoyed.

Angel was a member of the Lodomillo Lassies 4-H Club. She was very involved with church where she taught Bible School and Sunday School. Angel truly enjoyed taking care of kids. She loved animals of all kinds, especially her “kids”. Angel enjoyed camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, and making crafts, especially Christmas ornaments. Above all else, Angel cherished her niece and nephew.

Survivors include her significant other of 11 and a half years, Tim Bemrose of Strawberry Point; her mother, Cherryl Fenton of Strawberry Point; one brother, David (Leann) Fenton of Strawberry Point; and her nephew, Jacob Fenton and her niece, Sarah Fenton both of Strawberry Point.

Angel was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lowell and Louise Fenton.
