April Ann Clute, 90, of Earlville, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. She was born on April 12, 1936, in Volga, the daughter of Lester and Carrie (Larson) Keilholtz. April graduated from Volga High School in 1953.
On August 22, 1958, she married George Clute at the Volga Methodist Church. Three children were born to this union. Together they raised their family and farmed north of Earlville. In addition to farming, she worked in the Rath Packing office and Volga State Bank. April enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her son Leo Clute of Colesburg; her daughter Tina (Tom) Burcham of Earlville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
April was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Clute in 2007; her son Duane Clute in 2013; sisters Loretta (George) Chappell, Wanda (Lloyd) Bristow; and brothers Forrest (Nettie) Keilholtz and Leo (Francis) Keilholtz.
