Blake Lee Millard

Blake Lee Millard, 20, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at his home.  He was born November 28, 2000, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Ira Lael Millard and Elizabeth Vesper. Blake was raised and educated in the Manchester area and graduated from West Delaware High School in 2020. After graduation Blake worked at a plastic manufacturing plant.

Blake enjoyed writing lyrics, playing video games and being outdoors especially fishing and camping. Above all else Blake enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Survivors of Blake include his mother, Elizabeth (Mike Frederiksen) Vesper of Manchester; his maternal grandparents, Joseph (Angela) Hodges of Manchester; his siblings, including his twin brother, Gavin Millard of Manchester, James Frederiksen, Jonathan Frederiksen and Elizabeth Frederiksen also of Manchester; his aunt, Lindsay (Joseph) Hempstead of Manchester; his uncle Zacharra Vesper of Manchester; and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Blake was preceded in death by his father, Ira Millard; his grandmother, Donna Frederiksen; and his grandfather, Ricky Vesper.
