Bruce Lee Lahue

Bruce Lee Lahue, 78, of Colesburg, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. He was born on March 6, 1947, the son of Charles and Ruth (Buchanan) Lahue. He received his bachelor’s degree in English.

On June 26, 1991, Bruce was united in marriage to Cynthia Markette in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bruce and Cindy enjoyed their years living together on Lake Delhi. He worked in the banking industry, most recently for U.S. Bank. Bruce enjoyed gaming, football, and reading.

Survivors include his daughter, Abigail Lahue of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and three grandchildren, Richard Lahue, Nathanel Lahue, and Gabriel Lahue.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lahue; his mother, Ruth Beckman; his wife, Cynthia Lahue; his son, Adam Lahue.
