Obituary

Carole Jean Hutchinson, 90, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester, Iowa. She was born on March 25, 1932, in Lansing, the daughter of Elmer and Dora (Rath) Parrott. Carole was raised in the Delaware County area, attending Delaware County rural school and graduating from Manchester High School in 1950. 

Carole was united in marriage to Harold Hutchinson in Manchester.  She was a nurse’s aide at Delaware County Memorial Hospital for 35 ½ years. Carole also served as a medication aide at the hospital. Carole retired in 1986.

Survivors include her sister, Billy Lou Miller; and many nieces and nephews.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Hutchinson; her sister, Syble Hutchinson; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Miller.
