Carolee Ann Jellison

Carolee Ann (Boots) Jellison, 79, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away peacefully at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester, on Friday, December 30, 2022, surrounded by her family. Carol was born in Dubuque, on April 2, 1943, to Clarence and Grace (Lange) Boots.

 On July 8, 1961, Carol was united in marriage to Lee Jellison, Sr. Two children were born to this union, Lori and Lee Jr.  Carol enjoyed a life of traveling with her husband for his work in the Navy, running a ceramics shop, and being a caregiver. Her favorite job was being a grandmother. She was the best grandma in the whole wide world to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren for whom she spent much of her life caring for. She was the sweetest, most fun-loving and caring person you could ever meet and will be missed dearly.

Carol is survived by her husband, Lee Jellison, Sr.; daughter, Lori Henkel (Doug); daughter in-law, Peggy Jellison; nine grandchildren, Nicole McGreevey, Ryan Jellison, Kala Schnittjer (Julian), Kelly Jellison, Whitney Weis (Ty), Sean Jellison, Kylie Long (Garett), Savanah Harbach, and Ryan Murphy (Karysa); six great-grandchildren, Lexi, Kiarra, Lochlan, Freya, Penelope, and Raina; and siblings, Betty Frelinger and Dick Boots.

She was preceded in death by her son, Lee Jellison, Jr.; siblings, Tom, Jim, and Kenny Boots, Darlene Pottabaum, Gwen Vanderah, and Sally Drier; and her parents, Clarence and Grace Boots.
