Charles "Chuck" Vincent Malone

Charles Vincent “Chuck” Malone, 77, of Republic, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  He was born on September 27, 1942, in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Harold and Josephine (Lamphiear) Malone.

Chuck was raised in Manchester and graduated from Manchester High School. He then attended and was a 1964 graduate of Loras College in Dubuque. Chuck served honorably in the United States Marines.   Chuck was united in marriage to Marita Jones on March 18, 1997.  They made their home in Missouri.

Survivors include his wife, Marita Malone of Republic Missouri; three step-sons, Brad Jones, Branden Jones, and Brent Jones; three grandchildren, Ty, Kadence, and Jett; a sister, Joanne Schleder; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Harold; his mother, Josephine; brother, Dave Malone; and a brother-in-law, Ed Schleder.
