Christine Lee (Byrn) Snow

Christine Lee Snow, 90, of Dundee, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at her home in Dundee.  She was born on July 18, 1934, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Grover and Marie (Kirkpatrick) Byrn.  Christine attended school in Missouri.

On July 19, 1949, Christine was united in marriage to Archie Snow. Six children were born to this union. Christine was a wonderful housewife, mother and cook. She loved her chickens, birds and flowers, and most of all spending time with her family.

Survivors include her five children, Mary Morrissey of Dundee, Denny (Brenda) Snow of Tipton, Nellie Wilson of Dundee, Diane (Kenny) Eiben of Marion, and Jeff (Vannessa) Snow of Manchester; 12 grandchildren, Gary Snow, Kristi Smith, Jake Morrissey, Chad Snow, Amber Snow, Jeremy Snow, Joey Snow, Hearther Doyle, Katherine Fraas, Justin Eiben, Jason Snow, and Matthew Snow; 22 great-grandchildren; 10 great great-grandchildren; her brother, Frank (Dee) Byrn and Fern Zahrt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Archie Snow in 1995; her son, Vernon Snow; two sons-in-law, Geo Wilson and Tom Morrissey; one granddaughter, Ellie Morrissey; four brothers, Francis Byrn, Don Byrn, Robert Byrn, and Chapen Byrn; and two sisters, Mary Kirk and Daisy Byrn.
