Coba Juanita Barnhart, 79, of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at her home. She was born June 5, 1941 in Cassville, Wisconsin, the daughter of Zach and Evelyn (Ashby) Lanham. Coba was raised and educated in the Dubuque area. After her high school graduation, Coba was a candy striper until her marriage.
On December 3, 1961, Coba was united in marriage to Ray Barnhart in Dubuque. To this union four children were born. Coba and Ray spent most of their life in Colesburg. After Ray passed away in 1994, Coba lived in Iowa and then moved to Missouri to live with her daughter and granddaughter. They later moved back to Greeley.
Coba enjoyed car rides, crocheting, and drinking coffee. She also enjoyed nature, especially hummingbirds, and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her three children, Tammy Krogmann of Greeley, Mitch (Renae) Barnhart of Strawberry Point, and Pamela Jones of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fredricka (Kenneth) Hoffender of Milan; one brother, Zachary (Linda) Lanham of Dubuque; and nieces and nephews.
Coba was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ray in 1994; and one son, Mark Barnhart.
