Darlene Kay (Lyons) Howard

Darlene K. Howard, 78, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. She was born on December 14, 1944, in Upland, California, the daughter of Harold and Vivian (Haganah) Lyons. Darlene was raised in Fontana, California, and was a graduate of Fontana High School.

Darlene enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the holidays. She was always up for a trip to the casino or a game of bingo and loved watching her birds.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Teresa of Buckeye, Arizona, Tracy (Gary) of Delhi, Iowa, and Timothy (Wendy) of Dyersville, Iowa; seven grandchildren, Tiffanie, Eric, Torrie, Ethan, Jeremy, Taylor, and Taryn; five great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Tayla, Grayson, Raelyn and Carter; and siblings, Donald (Bette) Lyons, Sandra (Mike) Rizzo, and Diane Adam.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom in 2023; her parents; and one brother, Richard Lyons.
