Delbert Eugene Newton

Delbert Eugene Newton, 65, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison. He was born on May 30, 1961, in Iowa City, the son of Howard and Rachel (Paxson) Newton. Delbert grew up in Manchester and was a 1981 graduate of West Delaware High School. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and driving his lawn mower around town. 

Survivors include his three brothers, Doran (Robin) Newton of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Dan Newton of Manchester, and Don Newton of Woodman, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews; and his special friends from Manchester.

Delbert was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Sheila.
