Franklin James Murray

Franklin James “Frank” Murray, 55, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on November 5, 2021, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester. He was born on July 26, 1966, in Dubuque, the son of Francis and Minnie Maybell (Cornwall) Murray. Frank was raised and educated in Manchester.

Over the years, Frank worked as a welder. He enjoyed crafting, fishing, and watching action movies.

Survivors include his three children, Justin Whitney of California, Dylan (Chelsea) Murray of Oelwein, and Haylee (Jimmy) Berry of Boone; five grandchildren, Noah, Myla, Quillan, Tesla, and Nash; 10 siblings, Sandra Murray of Manchester, Shirley (Richard) Kenny of Ryan, Marilyn (Chuck) Jones and Betty (Larry) Hicks all of Manchester, Brenda (Allan) Carper of Dyersville, Joyce (Greg) Trey of Strawberry Point, Bill (Joann) Murray of Ryan, Bob (Kim) Murray of Masonville, Mike (Kelley) Murray of Marion, and Pat (Tanya) Murray of Manchester; one sister-in-law, Vicky Murray of Dubuque; and many nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Murray.
