Gary Anthony Miller, 60, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at his home in Manchester, Iowa. He was born on November 18, 1962, in Anamosa, the son of Frederick and Elsie (Frazier) Miller. Gary was raised and educated in the Manchester area. He worked for many years at Carl’s Feed and Farm Store driving truck.
Gary enjoyed fishing, camping, scratching lotto tickets and NASCAR. In his spare time Gary enjoyed helping friends fix cars. Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, especially sharing his love of fishing.
Survivors include his special friend, Tammy Frederickson of Manchester; his five children, Ashley (Kyle White) Koch of Manchester; Kayla (Nate) Ridnour of Manchester, Sonja (Colin) Kullen of Oelwein, Kassandra (Brandon) Nuss of Manchester, and James (Megan) Bissell of Pennsylvania; sons-in-law, Christopher Koch, Dwight Christofferson, and John Behnken; many other claimed children;numerous grandchildren; six siblings, Robert Miller, Sandra (Richard) Bemer, Randy Miller, Debra Reth, Diane (Rickey) Iseton, and Connie Miller; and very many nieces and nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Elsie Miller; his son, Rick Marshall; two granddaughters, Avery Jo Koch and Gracee Miller; and his sister, Cindy Long.
The family wants to thank nurses, Jackie and Sara, and everyone at Regional Medical Center.
