Janette Grace (Lennox) Dufoe

Janette Grace (Lennox) Dufoe of Grinnell, Iowa, formerly of Coggon, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at the age of 86 after a short illness. Janet was born on May 20, 1936, on the farm near Coggon, the daughter of Howard and Bernita (Fuessley) Lennox. Janet was a 1954 graduate of Coggon High School.

Janet played the clarinet and loved golf, bingo, fishing, going to flea markets, and visiting lighthouses. She held a variety of jobs including 14 years at Delong Sportswear, auto parts delivery, home care, and ran her own lawn mowing service.

She is survived by her five children, Duane (Mitzi England) of Grinnell, Iowa, Robin (Dean Wilson) of Stoddard, Dwight (Laura Montgomery) of Grinnell, Douglas (Tammy Wood) of Grinnell, and Doran (Tammy) of Independence; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and her sister, Joanne Polk.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and older sister, Louise Vredenburg.
