Karen Faye Prochazka, 80, of Delhi, Iowa, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026, at her home. She was born on November 18, 1945, in Brainerd, Minnesota.
On March 17, 1982, Karen was united in marriage to Robert Prochazka. Karen earned her associates degree from Wilmington University in Delaware. Before retirement, Karen worked as an office manager for Thermal Transfer Composites, Inc.
Karen was an avid reader and exceptionally creative. An artist, she worked in a variety of media and particularly enjoyed pen/ink. She loved to travel and shared many motorcycle trips with her husband, daughter and friends. Karen loved wildlife and could often be found sipping coffee on the deck with her dog, watching the deer and turkeys.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 44 years; her daughter, Kimberly (Patrick) Blaney of Paris, Tennessee; and stepdaughters Tiffany (James) Price of Thompsons Station, Tennessee and Shasta Romine of Camden, Tennessee; and Stepson Brandon (Rená) Warren of Shelbyville, Tennessee.
Karen was preceded in death by her mother Maisel Svenvold, and a brother, Paul Svenvold.

A private family service will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026.
