Katherine Marie McGraw

Katherine Marie McGraw, 68, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at her home. She was born on April 23, 1954 in Manchester, the daughter of Joseph and Bethyl (Palmer) Mrstik. Kathy graduated from West Delaware High School in 1972 and attended Kirkwood Community College.

On July 7, 1973, Kathy was united in marriage to David McGraw in Manchester, the couple shared 50 years together. Three children were born to this union. Kathy was a loving homemaker and a member of the “Sweet Adelines.”  She enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing, and baking.

Survivors include her husband, David McGraw; three children, Stacey (Ned) Smith of Manchester, Brian (Kim) McGraw of Cedar Rapids, Nicholas (Rachel) McGraw of Manchester; 15 grandchildren, Jody Glubka, Devin Smith, Taryn Smith, Blake (Delaney Madison) Bernauer, Mykala (Peter Suddeth) McGraw, Brady Bernauer, Sydney McGraw, Presley Bernauer, Chase Bernauer, Olyvia McGraw, Andrew McGraw, Illiana Rohlf, Dominic Rave-Olson, Cassidy Hack, and Maverick McGraw; six great-grandchildren, Ayla Smith, Weslynn Massman-Smith, Adeline Bernauer, Miracle Mast, Bentley Hines, and Jeneviene Mast; four nephews and nieces, Joe, Jessica, Cecil, and Beth Mrstik; Seven brothers and sisters in-law, Tom (Del Rose Hentges) McGraw, Jim (Diana)  McGraw, Donna Williams, Ron (Jerry) McGraw, Gary (Peggy) McGraw, Diane (Lou) Koch, Dan (June) McGraw.

Preceded In death by her parents; her parents-in-law, Ray and Mary McGraw; her brother Steve; and her brother- in-law, Larry Williams.
