Keith Carl Peuker

Keith Carl Peuker, 85, of Edgewood, Iowa, passed away on Monday, December 16. 2024, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. He was born on October 6, 1939, at his grandparents’ farm near Elkport, the son of Paul Christ and Geraldine Amanda (Waterman) Peuker. Keith attended rural country school near Bear Creek and then Edgewood High School.

After his schooling, Keith farmed with his brother, Vernon, for over 50 years. He also hauled milk for Bob Helmrich for over 50 years. Keith enjoyed tinkering on his machinery. He loved his family and spending time with them.

Survivors include his sister, Margie (Jerry) Harbaugh of Edgewood; one nephew, James (Kari) Handke of Elkader; two nieces, Amanda Harbaugh of Strawberry Point and Paula Hansel of Elkader; and great-nieces and nephews, Tanner Handke, Cooper Handke, Samantha “Sam” Guyer, Kassidy Krapfl, and Violet Genthe.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Vernon Peuker; and a sister, Linda (Art) Handke, Jr.
