Kristopher Lloyd Halweg

Kristopher Lloyd Halweg, 34, of Manchester, Iowa, departed his earthly home on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at his residence in Manchester with his family by his side.  He was born on January 2, 1991 in Cresco, Iowa, the son of David and Lynn (Erickson) Halweg.

Kristopher was confirmed on April 24, 2005 at the Manchester Methodist Church. He graduated from Western Dubuque High School in 2009 where he participated in several sports and received all-conference honors in cross country. He also attended classes at the University of Northern Iowa. On September 30, 2023 he was united in marriage to Rachael Miller in Tennessee and there were two children born to this union. 

Kristopher worked for Decker Concrete in Dyersville for the past twelve years. He enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, golfing and was in a pool league. Above all Kristopher adored his children and loved spending time with them and his family and friends. He was loved by many and will be missed immensely.

He is survived by his parents; his wife Rachael; two children, Jalynn and Taylor; paternal grandmother, Deloris Halweg of Hawkeye; maternal grandparents, Harlan and Lorraine Erickson of Decorah; sister, Autumn (Clayton) Lane of Dyersville; two brothers, David (Amanda Weeks) of Earlville and Jakob Halweg of Dubuque; nieces, Paislee Halweg and Victoria Lane; nephews, Gabriel Halweg, Landyn Hass and Dylan Lane; and aunts and uncles.

Kristopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Daniel Halweg.
