Larry Joseph Herman

Larry Joseph Herman, 62, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at his home. He was born on January 26, 1960, in Manchester, the son of Vincent Dwight and Clara Elizabeth “Betty” (Werner) Herman. Larry was raised and educated in Earlville and was a 1978 graduate of Maquoketa Valley High School. 

On July 4, 2004, Larry was married to Donna McManigle. Donna passed away on June 8, 2005. On June 28, 2008, Larry was united in marriage to Kim Gingerich. Larry was an over the road trucker for many years. He also did concrete work for Stahlberg Concrete Construction and picked up parts for RW McDowell. Larry was a collector of everything.

Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Kim Herman of Manchester; his mother, Betty Herman of Earlville; step daughter, Taneasha Gingerich of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Cora, Sophia, and Todd, Jr.; and three siblings, David Herman of Littleport, Paul (Carolyn) Herman of Dubuque, and Tracy (David) Lewis of Aberdeen, Maryland.

Larry was preceded in death by his father; and his first wife, Donna.
