Lonnie Dean Miller

Lonnie Dean Miller, 48, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at Cedar Valley Hospice in Waterloo.  He was born on October 6, 1971, in Manchester, the son of Harry and Dorothy (Parsons) Miller. Lonnie attended school in the Maquoketa Valley School District.

Lonnie resided in Delaware until moving to Manchester in 2007.  Since 2009 he had worked for the Manchester Cemetery.  Lonnie was a dedicated worker who had a great knowledge of both Oakland and St. Mary Catholic Cemeteries. He enjoyed spending time at home watching television.

Survivors include his four siblings, James (friend, Joy Meyers) Miller of Hephzibah, Georgia, Marlene (Pete) Kastberg of Prairie du Sac, Wisconsin, Regina (Wallen) Capper of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, and Randy (Vickie) Miller of Monticello; several nieces and nephews; and his good friends, Emily Main and Charles Beatty.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Virgil Miller.
