Lorraine C. Adams, 94, of Orlando, Florida, previously from Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at the Advent Hospital in Orlando, Florida. She was born on March 12, 1929, in Greeley, Iowa, the daughter of Arthur and Edith (Brady) Bowers. Lorraine was raised and educated in the Greeley area, graduating from Greeley High School in 1947.
On July 16, 1950, Lorraine was united in marriage to Dale Elzie Adams at the United Methodist Church in Manchester. One son was born to this union and together they resided in Manchester. Lorraine worked as a waitress for many years at the English Grill. Lorraine was a member of the United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Gary (Betsy) Adams of Orlando; three granddaughters, Nichole Pullen, Jenna (Nick) DeAngelis, and Sierra Adams; two great-grandchildren, Sophia and Trey DeAngelis; and one sister, Dorothy Hartke of Colesburg.
Lorraine was preceded by in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Adams in 2010; two brothers, Delbert and Lavern Bowers; and one sister, Edna Newton.
