Marcia Elaine (Wolfe) Rasmussen

 Marcia Elaine Rasmussen, 72, of Delaware, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on October 3, 1951, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Ernest and Barbara (White) Wolfe. Marcia was raised and educated in Marion and was a 1970 graduate of Marion High School.

Marcia worked for Bank of America for many years. After her husband’s death in 2014, Marcia moved to Delaware from Arizona. Marcia enjoyed watching NASCAR and John Wayne movies. She enjoyed doing needlework and was an avid reader. Marcia loved her family and spending time with them.

Survivors include her children, Shane (Pam) Rasmussen of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Heather (Kevin) Ostrander of Delaware; stepchildren, Juli Stanford and Rhonda Schenk; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three step grandsons; two sisters, Mary Ellen (Doug) Teply and Marlene (Jim) McDaniel all of Cedar Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.

Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Rasmussen; great-grandson, Damien Johnston; and niece, Stacey McDaniel.
