Maureen A. Rodas

Maureen A. Rodas, 86, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. She was born on October 5, 1937, in Lamont, the daughter of Alex and Laura (Welsch) Seedorff. Maureen was raised and educated in the Lamont area, attending Lamont High School. She was married to Lowell Rodas and worked as an accountant/bookkeeper for many years.

Maureen enjoyed doing craft and needle work, playing cards, reading, and spending time with family.

Survivors include her four children, Debbie (Mark) Tubay of Western Springs, Illinois, Doug (Ellen)  Schuchmann of Knoxville, Tennessee, David (Teresa) Schuchmann of Sheffield; and Dana (Brad) Krizner of Jacksonville, Florida; two stepsons, Chuck (Brenda) Rodas and Chad Rodas of Strawberry Point; 12 grandchildren; and sister Maxine (Bill) Kleiman.

Maureen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lowell Rodas, and granddaughter Victoria Schuchmann.
