Nicholas Dean Hunt

Nicholas Dean Hunt, 38, of Lake Crystal, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was born September 28, 1982, in Manchester, the son of Billy and Barbara (Allison) Hunt. Nicholas graduated from Starmont High School in 2001.

On August 21, 2004, Nicholas was united in marriage to Melissa Varner at Backbone State Park, Strawberry Point.  Four loving beautiful children, Ashton, Noah, Kaylee and Aleah, were born to this union.  They moved to Minnesota from Iowa in 2008.  Nicholas worked first as a tree trimmer, but later worked for Xcel Energy as a special equipment operator.

Nicholas enjoyed restoring cars, woodworking, collecting rocks, physical fitness and enjoyed being a general handyman.  He most enjoyed spending time with his beloved children and family.  Those that knew Nicholas, knew he loved to stay busy and would help anyone in need.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa of Lake Crystal, Minnesota; his four children, Ashton, Noah, Kaylee and Aleah, all at home; his father, Billy Hunt of Strawberry Point; his mother Barbara (Kevin) Seibert of Manchester; his sisters, Kristy (Trent Davidson) Hunt of Milford and Jessica (Keith) Haynes of Lamont.

Because of COVID-19, masks are strongly recommended at the funeral home.
