Randy Ray Adams, 70, of Strawberry Point, Iowa, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. He was born on November 21, 1949, in Volga, the son of Edwin and Helen (Baumgartner) Adams. Randy attended and graduated from Starmont Schools.
Randy began work right after graduating, working on the farm milking cows and also farming with John McTaggart. He later worked for Monoma Wire in Guttenberg until his health caused him to retire. Randy enjoyed crossword puzzles, shortwave radios, reading and having coffee uptown. He loved to socialize with family and friends.
He is survived by his sister, Kathleen White of Owatonna, Minnesota; three brothers, Aulden Adams and Kenny Adams of Strawberry Point, and Gary (Lori) Adams of Grimes; several nephews and great nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Helen; and his brother-in-law, Duane White.
The family would like to thank the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home and the Edgewood Convalescent Home for all the wonderful care that Randy received.
