Ricky L. Letts

Ricky L. Letts, 66, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Regional Medical Center in Manchester.  He was born on November 29, 1958, in Manchester, the son of Wesley and Neva (Nightwine) Letts. Rick was raised in the Manchester area and attended West Delaware High School. He then served honorably in the United States Army.

Rick worked as a mechanic and was a scrap metal collector. Rick enjoyed spending time in his garden and fishing was one of his favorite pastimes.

Survivors include one son, Josh (Jill) Boddie of Florida; two grandchildren; two siblings, Robert (Patty) Letts of Manchester and Sharon (Dennis) Reed of Oelwein; and many nieces and nephews.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Wesley Boddie; seven brothers, Garth, Jim, Dennis, Mark, John, Jerry, and Roger Letts; four sisters, Betty Letts, Bonnie Pope, Chattie Colson, and Mary Ann Davis; and a nephew, Garth Letts, Jr.
