Thomas Allen Pfalzgraf

Thomas Allen Pfalzgraf, 82, of Manchester, Iowa, departed this life on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at his home. He was born in Waterloo on June 17, 1943, to Marie (Scott) and Allen Pfalzgraf. 

On November 21, 1987, he married Candace Schroeder. They enjoyed snow skiing, snowmobiling, boating, water skiing, fishing, golfing and spending time with family and friends. 

Tom received his education at East High School in Waterloo. He spent the majority of his working life as owner and operator of Custom Fit Gutters in Waterloo. He also enjoyed working in a number of other fields throughout the years.

Tom is survived by his wife Candace Pfalzgraf of Manchester and daughter, Kris (Jeff) Kahle of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. He is the brother of Tim (Sue) Pfalzgraf, Steve Pfalzgraf, and JoAnn (Bob) Davies all of Waterloo; brother-in-Law Jerry “Red” Hulme of Traer; and several nieces and nephews. 

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Marie and Allen “Pickles” Pfalzgraf, two sisters Karen Lamson and Marilyn Hulme, and a nephew Tommy Burns.
