Walter Dean Wentz

Walter Dean Wentz, 76, of Elkport, Iowa, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at rural Manchester.  He was born May 15, 1945 in Littleport.  Walter was raised and educated in Clayton County and graduated from high school. He entered the United States Air Force until his medical discharge.

Walter farmed and drove milk truck.  He also worked for Houlihan Sanitation for 15 plus years. Walter’s hobbies were going to auctioning and working his farm.  He also enjoyed spending time with his friends.

Walter was preceded in death by his parents, his two half-brothers, Eugene and Dwayne Garlow.
