Very sorry to just hear about this. Bernita was one of the kindest people that I have ever met, and her smile and laugh will live on with me forever. My heart and prayers go out to the family, and I feel very lucky to have been graced by her presence.

I remember Bernita so well from all the years in the Delaware County 4-H program. She was a wonderful leader and so devoted to the program and all the members. The club would not have been the same without her--she truly gave of her time and talent. Those memories of years gone by are treasures now! I'm so sorry for your loss--those who met her your mother certainly enjoyed her genuine character, sense of humor, and goodness--and I will always be thankful for the opportunity to have known a mentor like her. God bless you all!

So sorry to hear the news about your mother. So hard to let them go even at her age. Cherish your memories and remember the happy times more.

Just wanted to let you know how sorry we were to hear about Bernita. She was a lovely woman with a wonderful smile. I have so many fond memories of both her and Paul from all of those years with Farm Bureau. We will be out of town this weekend, but wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

So sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She lived a good long life. But it's hard to give them up. I did so much enjoy visiting with her whenever I saw her. I would see her at our Retired Teacher Organization When I was still at Colesburg Icalled her when Burt passed away and she told me she was at the Good Neighbor Home then. She was a most friendly person and had a sense of humor I enjoyed. Also a most dedicated teacher. My sympathy to,all of your family. Janet Brockmeyer.
